The documentary ALPTREES, produced as part of the Alptrees Interreg project , was awarded in France during the Deauville Green Awards , Festival International du Film Responsable, in the Habitat, Territories and Environment category.

The European project Alptrees, which ended last May, promotes knowledge of non-native trees (in English "Non Native Trees" NNT) to contribute to a European transnational strategy aimed at their sustainable management, investigating benefits and potential risks.

Shooted in 2021 in 5 countries (Italy, France, Germany, Austria and Slovenia) and 14 locations with the collaboration of 21 Italian and European institutions, the docu-film offers a reflection on the issue with multi-voiced insights on the effects, limits and potential associated with their diffusion.

For over 10 years, the Deauville Green Awards has selected and awarded the best advertising, institutional and documentary films on ecological and social transition. The recognition achieved therefore represents a further confirmation of the perceived importance with respect to this issue.
