"During the two-day visit of the French delegation we explored the main problems affecting viticulture and enology throughout Europe and we defined the scientific contexts to create innovative solutions in respect of the ecological transition and environmental and economic sustainability - explains the director of the Research and Innovation Center, Prof. Mario Pezzotti-. The goal is to collaborate in a profitable, systemic and complementary way, to bring together the forces, the experimental materials and the skills to create critical mass and face future challenges together ".
Satisfied with the visit also prof. Alain Blanchard, director of the Bordeax Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences. "The Edmund Mach Foundation is an institute that has shown itself to be at the forefront of science in Europe, with multiple and important results and interactions all over the world; it is about responding to the main needs of today's European viticulture, also including environmental issues. and aimed at ensuring the continuity of a system that is today rendered fragile in our respective territories. So today we are here to conclude a research collaboration path on projects from viticulture to enology, also including the social aspects, equally underlying reality of viticulture in our territories ".
