(PEI) - Operating within the framework of the EIP-AGRI Operational Groups, this project investigates the pedoclimatic identity of the Lugana DOC territory. By analyzing the dynamic interaction between clay soils, the lacustrine microclimate, and the native Turbiana grape variety, the Edmund Mach Foundation aims to define a scientific identity card for the denomination. This will help optimize agronomic choices against climate change and enhance the value of the wine on international markets.
