Gretter Alessandro

PhD in Geography (Innsbruck, Austria) but previous training in Environmental Economics (Siena & Trento, Italy), Senior Technologist at the Research and Innovation Center. For over 20 years he has been involved in sustainable local development, multi-level governance of natural resources and participatory activities.

Former member of the Landscape Observatory of the Autonomous Province of Trento (2011-2016), since 2017 he has been a member of Action Group 7 "Ecological Connectivity - Green Infrastructures" of the Macro Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) representing the Autonomous Province of Trento.

In recent years he has participated in various European projects ARPAF (ALPJOBS, TRANSALP, IMPULS4ACTION, REDIAFOR), ALPINE SPACE (ECO_ALPSWATER, ALPTREES) and funded by EIT Climate-KIC (SATURN) and EIT FOOD (HELPFOOD), dealing with new relationships between areas rural and urban areas, tools for the transition of agro-food systems and strategies for adapting to climate change.

He supports the funding and strategical activities of FEM.
