Gretter Alessandro
PhD in Geography (Innsbruck, Austria) but previous training in Environmental Economics (Siena & Trento, Italy), Senior Technologist at the Research and Innovation Center. For over 25 years he has been involved in sustainable local development, multi-level governance of natural resources and participatory activities.
Former member of the Landscape Observatory of the Autonomous Province of Trento (2011-2016), since 2017, he has been a member of Action Group 7 "Ecological Connectivity - Green Infrastructures" of the Macro Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP), representing the Autonomous Province of Trento. In the same Macro Regional Strategy, from January 2026, is Deputy Leader of the Action Group 6 "Resources" and project manager for FEM in the INTERREG Alpine Space 4supportEUSALP.
In recent years he has participated in various European projects ARPAF (ALPJOBS, TRANSALP, IMPULS4ACTION, REDIAFOR), ALPINE SPACE (ECO_ALPSWATER, ALPTREES) and funded by EIT Climate-KIC (SATURN) and EIT FOOD (HELPFOOD), dealing with new relationships between rural and urban areas, tools for the transition of agro-food systems and strategies for adapting to climate change. He has been involved in projects of the EU Recovery funds (PNRR) realised in Trentino, with a particular focus on topics of Agroecology. He has been involved between 2024 and 2025 in the Horizon Europe project IMPETUS, supporting the dialogue between research and society in the foreseen adaptation measures to climate change in agricultural sector.
He supports the funding and strategic activities of FEM.
