After graduating in engineering for the environment and the territory, I initially developed experience in the private building sector (design), I then worked in the field of voluntary certifications in the environment/forest/wood sectors, at the service of an Accredited Certification Body, in the role of:

• Internal Integrated Management Systems;
• Environmental Management Systems Auditor;
• Expert Auditor in Forest Certification and Chain of Custody in accordance with PEFC;
• Auditor of Quality Management Systems;
• Evaluator for the voluntary certification scheme ""Audit Work & Family"" (family-oriented personnel management policies);
• Environmental technical consultant;
• Lead Auditor in FSC Chain of Custody.

From 2011 to 2022 I worked at the service of the FEM Technology Transfer Center, in the field of renewable energy and the valorisation of waste generated by local agri-food chains, dealing in particular with:

• analysis of technologies for the energy valorisation of biomass waste generated by the agro-industrial and forestry sector;
• pre-feasibility studies for cogeneration plants from waste biomass, organic waste and/or by-products;
• coordination and/or conducting of experimental activities in the field of dry anaerobic digestion of organic waste, aimed at optimizing biogas production and studying innovative small-scale energy valorisation systems (biomethane production and micro-cogeneration);
• investigation activities on the organic waste available in the Trentino area;
• participation in national and international projects in the field of RES and organic waste management;
• collaborations with universities and research institutions aimed at identifying new research and experimentation activities;
• support to local producers and companies looking for systems to improve the efficiency and/or valorisation of waste materials generated by the production process;
• participation in internal commissions for the evaluation of technical offers in the context of tenders (photovoltaic plants, biomass plants).

Since 2022 I have been working at the service of the FEM Research and Innovation Center, maintaining the same operating areas as in previous years.

Since 2017 I have held the role of Manager for the Rational Use of Energy of FEM, pursuant to law 10/91.
