Vanderlocht Charlotte
My name is Charlotte Vanderlocht, I am a wildlife ecologist with a particular interest for trophic and behavioural ecology in complex, dynamic ecosystems. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Trento and at the Fondazione Edmund Mach in the Applied Ecology and Conservation Genomics groups.
Under the supervision of Dr. Francesca Cagnacci, Dr. Heidi C. Hauffe and Dr. Luca Pedrotti, I am investigating the ecological functions of large herbivores in the Alps, given rapidly changing environmental drivers such as climate change, large carnivore colonisation, anthropogenic disturbance, and management practices. The project is co-funded by the University of Trento, Fondazione Edmund Mach, and Stelvio National Park.
