(EUSALP) The project aims to strengthen the governance and implementation capacity of EUSALP by improving coherence between the Revised Action Plan of the Strategy, the decisions of the General Assembly, and the 2026–2028 Action Group Work Plans. A key component is the reinforcement of the Secretariat, which will act as a strategic working unit delivering services to the Presidencies, the Executive Board, the Board of Action Group Leaders, their joint meetings, and the Action Groups, ensuring effective coordination across all levels.

Project description

(EUSALP) The project aims to strengthen the governance and implementation capacity of EUSALP by improving coherence between the Revised Action Plan of the Strategy, the decisions of the General Assembly, and the 2026–2028 Action Group Work Plans. A key component is the reinforcement of the Secretariat, which will act as a strategic working unit delivering services to the Presidencies, the Executive Board, the Board of Action Group Leaders, their joint meetings, and the Action Groups, ensuring effective coordination across all levels.

Extended description

FEM is responsible for the activities of WP2 with reference to the AG6. With the support of its members and crucial project Observers (i.e. Alpine Convention, CIPRA, EUSALP Youth Council), FEM will contribute to fostering sustainable and balanced models of natural and cultural resources management and production.

FEM will develop and implement the workplan, organize on site and virtual meetings ensuring a smooth information flow, promote - in the context of converging activities – cross- sectoral interaction with other AGs, cooperate with EUSALP governing bodies (see EB and BAGL), participates at EUSALP EB + BAGL meetings and other planned events (i.e. EUSALP TSS meetings, EUSALP Forum).
