The objective of the call is the revitalization of abandoned villages and territories, which specifically for the Autonomous Province of Trento sees the municipality of Pellizzano in Val di Sole selected. In the municipality, the village of Termenago and all the agricultural and forestry, adjacent to it. Compared to the central element focused on the re-enhancement of the village through artistic and cultural initiatives, two agro-environmental measures are envisaged which provide for the recovery of abandoned terraced landascapes for production purposes and the construction of a “green amphitheater” (mostly composed by vegetable elements).

FEM works to support the companies, entrepreneurs and the communities of the Autonomous Province of Trento which see in the rural sector, and in the interactions it has with society, a lever for the socio-economic development of their territory and of the resources therein. In this project there are aspects related to the recovery of abandoned areas, the relaunch of agriculture in the valley, support in the development of new entrepreneurial figures and the activation of meta-training processes. All of them are inherent in the activities of the FEM Centers.

The aim is that the experience that will be developed with the village of Termenago may also be an example for other areas of Trentino that want to undertake local development initiatives in which the landscape and rural resources play an important role.

The envisaged activities are part of the Measure 3.5 "Construction of a vegetable amphitheater", and Measure 3.6B "Recovery and landscape enhancement of abandoned terraced landscapes and crop restoration".

Recovery of abandoned terraced landscapes for the cultivation of fruit species and medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) in order to enhance the production of local farms, also through the qualitative improvement of the productions.
