Battilani Daniele

My research interests focus on conservation genomics, using population genomics analyses and the implementation of genetic indicators in the field of conservation policies.
In particular, I work with whole genomes of wild animal and plant species to understand their genetic status and adaptive potential. I also develop best practices for estimating a headline genetic indicator within the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
